This project included the construction of a 60,000 seater concrete framed stadium in Highbury & Islington on a brown-field site alongside main railway tracks. The structure comprised four suspended in situ slabs, and eight main cores which provide support to the clear spanning roof.
Byrne Bros.' work packages included the reinforced concrete sub-structure and superstructure works for the stadium, the re-located Waste Transfer Station and the Northern Triangle residential scheme for key workers.
