The works comprised the formation of a new basement within and below the existing Nave, construction of new ground floor slab, internal fit-out to provide restaurant and coffee lounge, lecture theatre, cinema and study areas, together with the internal refurbishment and restoration to the finishes throughout the church.

The formation of the new basement involved facade retention works, comprising underpinning and propping to the existing walls, utilising the permanent steel support structure for the new ground floor slab.

The restoration works included the vaulted ceiling to the nave and sanctuary, gilded features and wall decorations, installation of marble pilasters and painted faux marble effect to the sanctuary.
