The building has been completely refurbished with extensive structural alterations to form eight high quality residential apartments on the upper floors, and two retail ‘shell’ units at ground floor and basement levels.
The scope of works included demolition, structural alterations, groundworks, infill of the lightwell to extend the floor plates, new construction at sixth and seventh floor levels, roofworks and finishes, new lifts, new staircase, high quality finishes to the apartments and entrance foyer, builderswork finishes to the retail units and refurbishment of the existing facades.
The building is Grade II listed and is known as Oceanic House and was formally the offices of the White Star Line
