Working with Vimpex, Byrne Bros. has successfully trialled and adopted the use of Ogura’s range of hand-held, battery-powered hydraulic rebar cutters.

The benefits of hydraulic cutters include:

• Reduced hot works and trailing cables on-site – safer sites
• Significantly reduced noise during rebar cutting operations – quieter sites
• Increased efficiency as there is less time spent supplying the working area with mains electricity – leaner operations
• Avoids the need for petrol cutters – reduced CO₂e emissions
