Safety Manager of the Year

Ellmer has pleasure in announcing that this year's winner of the Ellmer Health & Safety Manager of the year is Carl Clash for his exceptional management of his sites and positive attitude towards the improvement of safety behaviours.

Ellmer Managing Director Robert Pincham said "We have chosen Carl due to his hard work in making Furnival House a safe construction site and for his proactive approach to managing the works during a complex and high risk basement formation.

Carl introduced a monthly reward scheme for operatives who performed their duties safely which has assisted in encouraging and influencing good behaviour on site.

It has been very evident that Carl has established strong working relationships with the subcontractors to develop and maintain a high standard of safety culture. He has managed subcontractors' documentation to a high standard to ensure site wide compliance with Ellmer's management systems."
