Newhurst (Energy-From-Waste)

Byrne Bros. has been awarded a project for Hitachi Zosen Inova on the Newhurst Energy-from-waste facility in Leicestershire. This is a new energy recovery facility providing important sustainable waste treatment in the drive to move non-recyclable waste away from landfill, and to combat climate change.

Byrne Bros. will mainly be responsible for bulk excavation & blinding works, selected road construction, drainage and utility works, establishment of laydown areas, selected foundation excavation and all reinforced concrete (RC) works on the project.
