Hatcham Temple Grove Free School

Ben White, Head of Engineering at Byrne Bros., visited Hatcham Temple Grove Free School, New Cross on the 20^th June as part of our STEM programme. Ben, a registered STEM Ambassador, presented to the Year 1 and Year 2 pupils about bridge building and then led them in a bridge building exercise.

Working in teams, the children had to make a bridge from paper, that had to be at least 40cms long, and strong enough for a toy car to travel over.
