Charity Cycling Challenge

Byrne Bros. are proud to congratulate Joe Tinnelly, a Project Manager on Wood Wharf, who has completed a virtual bike ride for charity. This is Joe’s fourth challenge raising money for YMCA East Surrey, who are celebrating their 150th anniversary.

In 30^o heat on Saturday, Joe completed 226km, 8,850m of elevation gain (8.5 times up virtual Alpe d’Huez) over an elapsed time of 16hrs (2hrs of well needed breaks in between).

On Sunday, he then cycled 126km around the Surrey Hills, an elevation gain of 1,237m in searing 34° heat.
