The Byrne Group has been awarded Best Construction Website in the annual Web Awards, run by the Web Marketing Association.
The new website’s design, innovation and technology all scored 9.5/10, with the content, copywriting and ease of use also rated highly and an overall score of 64/70 achieved, compared to an industry average of 53.
Created by Chris Curd Design, the website is designed to showcase the Byrne Group’s innovation, safety record, commitment to the environment and sustainable working, as well as its track record of high profile construction projects.
Matthew Preston, Group IT Director for the Byrne Group, said:
“People, delivery and relationships are at the heart of our business and were the key factors that shaped our website, but we wanted our clients, potential clients, staff and suppliers to see that there is more to the Byrne Group than delivering complex, high profile projects.
“The website not only showcases our work in a way that is easy for everyone to access, but effectively communicates our core principles and the part our team plays in the group’s success. As with everything we do, we wanted the website not only meet but to exceed industry standards and we are very pleased that these efforts have been recognised at a national level.”
