Byrne Group shortlisted for first major contractor award

Over the last year, the Byrne Group has delivered the most technically challenging and high-profile projects in its 40-year history – just one reason why it was shortlisted for the Construction News Awards 2012 Contractor of the Year category.

Our five individual group divisions have worked together more than ever before to ensure our services are tailored to exactly what clients want and need in a very changing environment – resulting, for example, in our first design and build project award by London Underground.

In addition, collaborating with a key client through a negotiated contract basis, coupled with seven day a week/24 hour-a-day working schedule, saw us deliver an M&S store with a ‘living wall’ in Norwich.

From constructing The Shard’s core to fabricating road safety plates for Crossrail, we are delighted that our work has resulted in such a prestigious shortlisting for our business.
