Shangri-La at The Shard

Byrne Group completed the fitting out to the Shangri-La at the Shard Hotel within Western Europe’s tallest building to create the operator's spectacular flagship hotel in Europe.
The lavish accommodation comprises 202 guest rooms and suites between levels 36 and 50 each with spectacular views of the London skyline through floor to ceiling windows. The fit-out team successfully overcame the challenges presented by the building's distinctive angular form with each guest room having its own unique footprint.
Additional facilities include a ground-floor delicatessen and an infinity pool and gym on Level 52.
The exacting timescales, challenging logistics and quality imperatives make this one of the company's finest achievements.
The hotel also features three signature suites; on level 39, the Shangri-La suite provides 180-degree views of London, stretching from the Houses of Parliament to Canary Wharf, Level 52 houses Gong, London's highest bar and on level 35, the signature restaurant is Ting.
