SCOPE OF WORK

Byrne Bros started the Group activity at the Stamford Bridge ground with the construction of the new West Stand. Phase 1 included in situ substructure, precast concrete beams and seating to the lower section and phase 2 was a repeat of phase 1 to the upper sections of the stand. Byrne's next phase was the sub and superstructure construction of Chelsea Village including the hotel, underground car parks, bars and restaurants.

Ellmer Construction's role was the large extensive refurbishment, multi trade fit-out and specialist joinery throughout the striking Chelsea Football Club. Works included the refurbishment of: Executive boxes, bars and restaurants, stand bars, all toliets, Sky/TV commentary and interview areas, security areas and external works.
